Top Golf, Watford

24th Oct 05.

Being bored, and remembering there is crazy golf in watford that has been untouched by the G-unit, the "Cappsters" set off to Top golf for an afternoon of crazy g action...and we weren't disappointed!

Advertised as "..an indiana jones style course.." where you can "..putt your way to paradise..", we just couldnt resist. At £4 a round, it was by far the most expensive we had come across. Also, we had to queue for a good 10 minutes..and there were 4 proprietors on hand!

So, we collected our tokens and negotiated the high security gates by going through the turnstiles....expectations were running high..

Finding it difficult to negotiate the wet gingers thatsurrounded us, we cracked on with the crazy g. The weather proved to be a ginger in itself as we contended with gusty winds, and I had the extra challenge of using a dark blue ball (ala fabuloso in the lost world!)

A mount kilimanjaro experience awaited us on hole 9. ..although it was possible to avoid....however not as "crazy"

Cappy Gilmore recreates a Lost World moment..

A selection of shots here..the central waterfall which runs down and is part of the hole in photo 2....(if your ball goes in the water, the current takes it down to the hole..clever stuff!!) Being the skilled Cappsters, we didn't lose our balls in the winger (wet ginger)..but fishing nets were on hand if we had done!

Notice the ginger box, minus the ginger bitch. ..no team photo, as visors werent present.

Cappy Gilmore was taking score, in which Jenster was the UNDISPUTED champ...beating Cappy Gilmore by 7 shots (she was doing well until she was 2 under garlic...and was looking to take a trip on that big old garlic ship!)
