Staines....innit

Not content with the wet gingers of Watford, we set off for our local crazy g course, Staines. What better way to celebrate "the warmest 27th October since 1888"?!
We weren't prepared for the crowds, and should have realised that being half term, the place would be riddled with kiddies. We did manage to find a token old woman spectator (pictured), quite happy to watch crazy g all day.

The camera-shy Cappy Gilmore here facing some unpredictable gingers on hole 2. Note the babylons that were a feature at EVERY hole.

Some holes were not as difficult as they looked!........

Cappy Gilmore lines up the shot on the 360 hole

A rare 'front-of-camera' shot of yours truly. Quite proud of my performance on this hole, as the usually cool Cappy Gilmore managed to land her ball in the of water, mud and old leaves that surrounded us.

The proprietor's (again it's ginger) box. He coped well with the demand. It was very busy- we queued at every hole and there was a backlog on the volcano (which, can I just point out I did in 3 shots...!)

We didn't think it was right to ask for a group discount as there were only 2 of us.

Unfortunately Cappy Gilmore was back on form, winning by 7 shots (I nearly took a trip on the garlic ship on one hole....not got a pic of it, as I was so frustrated!...lets just say you needed uphill accuracy, which I didn't have)
