Pre-Christmas G

Determined to get some G in before the Christmas weekend, 3 of us set out to Northwick Park to play a quick 9 holes.

So, we parked the Crazy-G-mobile in the (empty) car park, had a quick "fagette" in the (a)lighting point, donned our visors and cracked on with the G!

Thankfully the bunkers weren't filled with water this time....however this didnt make it any easier! Can I just point out at this stage the commitment involved...we'd all had a large one the night before and were STILL up to play G in the morning...take note Dawnie - your cards are marked!

Happy Days here - lining up a shot on hole 3. Fair play to her - the only one getting in the spirit with visor and G-shirt. True professional. Also, a shot by the very impressive festive babylons.

A few shots of the "cafe". Very impressed with this place. Leather sofas, indoor(migrating!) babylons and views of the driving range. Also, a nice shop to buy G-loves, putters, and casual G wear. Happy Days there on the right, enjoying "THE best sandwich in the world...ever"

Unfortunately I can't find the G-brief of the course. I do remember however that Pat won that day...she is officially the Northwick Park undisputed champion of the world ever. This course seems to be somewhat of a bogie course for Cappy Gilmore as she has yet to win here.

Happy 21st Cappy Gilmore!

What better way to cure a hangover than to go to your nearest (brand new!!) crazy g course?!

We decided to check out our new local course, and we weren't disappointed! Right next to Northwick Park hospital, it offers superb views of surrounding Harrow, and the new Wembley stadium. It was so new that they hadnt made the tokens yet, so we had to negotiate the turnstiles! Also, the "overflow carpark" and "real" golf course hadn't been finished. Of course they wanted to get the adventure golf up and away first - priorities!!

Chipmunk negotiating the turnstiles.....and it's a lot harder than it looks! Great to see Chipmunk playing the G, as she didn't make it to the, now infamous, isle of wight tour.

Not a good idea to play crazy g in flip flops.....or socks. The wet astroturf, which was quite thick in places, impeded Jenster's putting abilities...that's my excuse for getting a garlic anyway! peugeot.

beautiful wembley

the only hardcore g unit members who brought their visors

The bunkers were difficult to negotiate

Chants surveys the long fairway..good to see her off the crutches!

The now obligatory "lost world" shot of the birthday girl

The long fairways made it difficult to observe each others shots..

Each hole was a scaled down version of a famous golf course

Wet gingers were a feature of this 9-hole course, making it very difficult....no oles and plenty of trips on the garlic ship!

Mother Cappster won this course, on her g-unit debut - showing that crazy g does indeed run in the family!

G- brief to follow, when we have it!
Summing up - a good course - difficult due to the long astroturf, numerous bunkers and wet gingers. £3 a round, cafe on site. also available - driving range, real golf course and baseball batting machines.
