Esplanade Gardens

And so to our last course of the tour....Esplanade (or Espionage) Gardens on Shanklin seafront. By far the most scenic of all the courses. It's right on the seafront with its own built in viewing stadium and upper gallery.

This type of ginger always proved to have a bit of a garlic potential.

Another great shot by Fabuloso....note the afore-mentioned viewing stadium

What a nice shot by the palm tree and strategically placed babylons.

The final shot on our final course...won (again) by Helen (the disputed indoor and semi disputed outdoor champion) with a score of 43.

Also on Shanklin seafront is Jungle Jims. Another indoor crazy g course that will be first on our list for next year!

We found a windmill!!!!

Well.....after setting off from the land of mushrooms in search of our last course , we came across a holiday park. Driving around, we found a crazy g course...with a windmill!! Getting a bit over excited, we strolled up to the proprietor. Just about to ask if we could play (bear in mind we still have our pink visors on) and she tells us we can't leave our car there. "No worries" we say, (we were just going to ask first as it's polite) When she replies: "Yes, it IS a worry. we have 11 coaches coming here this afternoon, so you CAN'T park your car HERE!" (11 coaches my arse) So, we left in disgust( not before taking a photo of the only windmill we saw all weekend!)...singing songs such as "you can shove your holiday park up your arse"..etc

Mushrooms all round

So, Day 2 of our tour. Having tired ourselves out yesterday, we were a bit crazy-g'ed out. However, being true professionals, we cracked on and headed for Ryde. Forgetting the classic car show was on in Ryde, we negotiated the crowds and found a crazy g course tucked away from the mayhem...in Puckpool Park.

Hole 4 here, and Pat eyes up the gingers, with (of course) a mushroom at the end.

Ah....Mount Kilimanjaro. Many trips on the garlic ship thanks to that bad boy. Also, a shot of our spectator from Wembley.

.

Fabuloso here....lining up her shot on the Needles......disappointingly no sign of a mushroom on this hole. The other spectators look on in amazement

A final shot from the mushroom course.....plus

our number one fan from Wembley!

Helen won this course with a score of 35

One word...Babylons

Next stop, Shanklin. How else would we get there but the legendary A3055. After arriving, seeing this sign, doing an emergency stop and using nothing but instinct to find the course, we arrived at the isle of wight's answer to the hanging gardens of Babylon....

A casual shot and potential calendar entry. Note the obvious sign informing us we can't stand on the tables.....which was ignored and not appreciated by the proprietor's wife!

So, after some obligatory interviews for sky sports and some much needed refreshments, we were on our way...fighting back the "flower power" to negotiate the best gingers we encountered on the tour.

This is just a photo to highlight just how many babylons were there...and to prove we aren't exaggerating!! Highlights of this course include plenty of reality check-ettes..including Chantelle's garlic

Luckily we read this sign before competing, and lived to tell the tale.

A final shot by the babylons...just before we were bombarded with a ridiculous amount of information about this course by the proprietor.

(see bonus points)

Jenster won this course with a score of 42 (very good according to the scoreboard) The rest were "good", with sarnie mcmarnie being dodgy..aww

The Lost World

Enter the Lost world....if you dare!!

The Lost world is an indoor Crazy G course, found on sandown pier (a whole day's fun in one!). Includes jungle sound and light effects, wet gingers and ginger bitches (see below). This course was not the craziest we came across, however the random periods of darkness proved an interesting ginger to negotiate!

Cappy Gilmore negotiating a bridge. Helen was the disputed indoor champion of the world, with a score of 25. This was closely follows by Pat, with 28....she came so close to being the undisputed indoor champion of the world ever.

Fabuloso getting to grips with the scoring, the monkey sound effects and using a dark blue ball when the lights go out.

And finally, our photo(not taken by the ginger bitch proprietor who "couldn't leave the box")
